This newer edition of the King James Bible published in 1769 is usually preferred by most that read it over the older 1611 version. This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... Audiolivro excelente para relembrar um clássico!
Gostei muito de, depois de tantos anos após ter lido Memórias Póstumas de Brás Cubas, poder escutar o livro com uma ótima narração e relembrar os personagens, os ensinamentos, as negativas do final, as lições sobre a vida. Recomendo!

Um verdadeiro clássico.
Há um motivo para esse livro ainda ser popular. A forma que Machado de Assis escreve me lembra muito os filmes de Woody Allen, algo que foi difícil de afastar da mente enquanto escutava a esse livro. Recomendo fortemente, apesar das estranhas notas de violão que resolveram incluir nesse áudio do livro.

In the hands of a Master
Rafael Cortez's reading of "Bras Cubas" made the impossibly complex Machado de Assis masterpiece comprehensible and moving. And his choice to pay guitar during the intercalations and lacunae really gave the storytelling some soul.
