Publisher's Summary

Short but entertaining listening!

For those who enjoy short stories, you might want to get this, it certainly distracts you from what you're doing and takes you inside the story, good job!

Inteligentemente graciosa.

What about the narrator’s performance did you like?

I am not a native Spanish speaker. The performers speak fairly rapid Castilian Spanish, but I quickly became accustomed to it and followed the story easily. If your Spanish is intermediate or better, give this a listen. Like most of Saki's (H.H. Munro's) stories, it's very witty.

Any additional comments?

Didn't realize it was in Spanish...

Any additional comments?

Since, I'm definitely not fluent in Spanish, I can't fairly rate this novella.

Interesting short story, nothing remarkable

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I did not loose my time.

If you’ve listened to books by Herbert Hugh Monroe before, how does this one compare?

I have not

Would you listen to another book narrated by the narrator?

Yes

Do you think La Ventana Abierta [The Open Window] needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No I think he said what he could

Lame story

I consider this short story as a waste of time. I would rather buy another audiobook that getting this short story and have it piled on my library & consuming my tablet's memory. I erased it after listening to it.

I don't speak the language.

What disappointed you about La Ventana Abierta [The Open Window]?

The language. I don't speak Spanish and don't care to. Why is it free in Spanish and costs English speakers. Is Audible getting politically liberal on us?
