Stories good, but avoid the narrator.

The stories are good. The quality of narration is much lower than the standard Audible narration. The narrator had a repetitive cadence and inflections in reading aloud that did not fit the flow of the text, that listening became a grating experience. There are also audio issues in the clarity of the reading in parts of the reading.

But, since the length was quite long, if you just want noise in the background that won't be too interesting to listen to while you try sleep, it could fit the bill.

Narrator's voice oye!

What would have made Fifty Fantastic Tales better?

The narrator had only one inflection in her cadence. It was grating. The narrator needs to develope a greater range of voices and tempo.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

I can not bear to continue listening. I wish I had a hard copy to read.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Great stories..
