Publisher's summary

Now, Bram Stoker's Dracula - the pinnacle of Gothic horror for generations - rises again with hauntingly dramatic digital artwork from two-time Eisner Award winner J. H. Williams III.

When young English lawyer Jonathan Harker arrives in Transylvania on the eve of Saint George's Day, he cannot shake a strange feeling of uneasiness. Dogs howl throughout the night, villagers speak fearfully of evil omens, and the air grows colder as he arrives at his destination: the castle of Count Dracula.

Jonathan has been summoned by the count for business, and while he finds his new host obliging and polite, he can't help but notice the man's pallid skin, odd lack of appetite, and long daytime absences. Puzzled, the young solicitor begins to search the castle for clues - and unearths a deadly secret that could endanger him and those he loves most.

Journey through the Carpathian Mountains, lose yourself in the shadowy streets of London, and experience all the action, suspense, and terror of this classic tale. Just be sure to leave a light on.

Thrilling!

This book surpassed my expectations and I enjoyed every minute. The movie adaptations lack the fervor found in the book.

Not as good as its show on netflix.

Great story but not as good as the show, if you have seen the 3 part series on Netflix before reading this you will be disappointed as it is not nearly the same after the first few chapters.

Bram Stoker + Nick Sandys = Pure Satisfaction

Nick Sandys is remarkable! The story is amazing by itself but his performance really takes it to the next level. One of the best audiobooks I have listened to. So enthralling!

Mixed bag, but worthwhile

Dracula starts off very strong, following Harker's trip to Castle Dracula and the trials that await him there. What follows after has some high highs and low lows. The earlier sections following the letters and journal entries of the two main women in the cast get to be a drag with just how many words are spent talking about the men in the story, but once the pieces of the mystery taking place around them start coming together, the story starts picking up again. While I feel the hunt for Dracula goes on a little too long with another slow section leading up to the end, I'm glad to have read it overall. I'd give it a 3.5/5 instead of a 3 if I could. Nick Sandys does a good job with both the narration and giving the characters distinct voices. I did not have trouble with telling who was speaking when, and his pronunciations are pacing are easy to understand. I have not listened to any other audiobook versions of Dracula, but you cannot go wrong with this one.

True Classic

Unlike many so-called classics, where the writing is good but the story is weak, Dracula is a compelling story told well. The language is old-fashioned, of course, but it is often sublime. The characters are robust and act consistent to their natures, the heroes and the villains.

DRACULA

VERY WELL READ AND NARRATED. THIS GAVE THE BOOK SOME INTEREST AND THE CHARACTERS BROUGHT THE BOOK TO LIFE.

One of the better audio versions!

This audio edition of the classic vampire tale is perhaps one of the best. The reader, Nick Sandys, does all the character voices with distinct individuality that you almost believe it's a full cast rather than one man. You owe it to yourself to seek out this version as it is well worth immersing yourself in.
