An intellectual seeker of truth

That is what comes to my mind listening (or reading)
C.S. Lewis. His writtings are like an internal conversation trying to make sense of arguments he creates or are important to him. Obviously topics of God, religion, theology, morality, etc are central to a big part of his writtings. I am a fan because he is constantly making this argument and looking for the truth, and that is the only way to learn and grow.

The audio book itself is very good. The narration is adecuate. The gentlemen reading has a scholarly tone that at times help, but sometimes (few times) is monotonous, however in general his reading is effective and of good quality of tone and volume. This same person also reads other works of the same author.

In conclussion, I enjoyed this audio book.

lewis

Where does C. S. Lewis rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

this is a great purchase. there is a ton of material and on a variety of different topics. the reader is fine. it would likely be best enjoyed by a person who has already experienced c.s. lewis in his other more traditional works, one of his (nonfiction) books. its a great supplement of diverse opinions from lewis for fans already familiar with his writing.

a great read

Lewis seems to have thought about almost every deep and controversial subject and then written about it.

Awesome best money spent on Lewis

Amazing stuff. Most of CS Lewis's writings. Some were life changing, most enlightening and most I would not have ever read if it weren't so complete. Respectfully Bill Steinwedell

Enrichingly Marvelous

Fantastic collection of work, performed exceptionally well. Covers a vast collection of work, but each one offers humor or insight or wisdom.

40 hours in the mind of Lewis

I would like to encourage anyone on the fence as to whether they should read this book to advance to the edge and take the plunge.

In it Lewis discusses a vast number of topics with lucidity, brevity, cogency, and sometimes genius; very lean, almost no fluff.

Reading these essays opened up many of Lewis’s more popular works and brought deeper meaning to them. I believe chapter 120 is on the inner ring. It should be read as a supplement to Mark Studdock’s (character from that hideous strength) decent into the hellish NICE. Many, many more examples can be given but this one was a stunningly obvious example.

Merry reading with my full and free endorsement.
