Fast paced and fun!

Unlike most other books I've read over the past few years, this doesn't waste any time with getting to the exciting parts. It is so imaginative, and didnt take too long to get through.

never knew how weird this story really is.

Found it hard to stay interested many times during the story. not a reflection of the reader, but maybe an indication of how far off the path this story takes you.

Not the best reading...

Obnoxious voice and style. The story is the classic and is great, but the reader made it a pain to listen to.

Terrible narration

Would you try another book written by Lewis Carroll or narrated by Shannon Parks?

Terrible narration sounded no better than the text to speech. Did not deserve even the one star I was forced to give it. Tried to return it but could not find the way to do it. Found an alternative audio by Miriam Margolyes which was much better.

Would you be willing to try another one of Shannon Parks’s performances?

No. Definitely not.

Any additional comments?

Can I have my money back?

A very difficult listen

I only listened to this because I owned it and had never read Alice In Wonderland before. But the narrator was very monotone and my mind just wouldn't pay attention like it does with other audiobooks. She got better as the book progressed, but not enough by the end to completely capture my attention.

Plus the book was pretty dull and (obviously!) old fashioned.

Painful audio!

Would you try another book written by Lewis Carroll or narrated by Shannon Parks?

Lewis Carroll = Excellent writer!
Shannon Parks = APPALLING narrator!

How could the performance have been better?

Being read by someone else!!

Any additional comments?

Mr Carroll took time, energy and effort to write this most excellent tale (no need for me to tell you about it.... if you have no idea what the story is, then you clearly live under a rock!), and it was destroyed by the shameful narration.
Do yourself a favour and find yourself a copy NOT read by Ms Parks. I love this tale and was very very close to turning it off. In fact it is less that 3 hours long and it took me 4 attempts to listem because the narration is so bad.
