Good light mystery...

I enjoyed this book. It’s a mystery on the lighter side but it certainly kept me entertained. The heroine’s family and friends are all being either murdered or beaten within an inch of. Trained in the martial arts she’s not completely defenseless but still must rely on a little help from friends, even knowing that she might be putting their lives at risk. There are quite a few good twists. I did guess who was responsible and partly his reasons before they were revealed but I wasn’t able to figure out the whole story.
Quinn Francis does a great job narrating.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

How does one describe Gia, she flees to the big city after her parents died. Living the high life, burning the candle and trying to fill a void in her. Until she receives a letter and her world changed. She has a purpose, she was now focus on one thing, to find out why, and to stay ahead of the killer.

Enjoyable start of a new to me series

I enjoyed this Book 1 of the Gia Santella series. It was well written, interesting and has a compelling protagonist. Though much younger than most of my favorite sleuths, I still found Gia sympathetic and intelligent. I hope more of this series comes to audio, as I vastly prefer this medium.
