Great Book! ❤️

Esmae decided to up and move away from her cheating ex and buy a farm and raise animals.  This was a totally different lifestyle than what she was used to, but she wanted a different life.  Her best friend Veronica helps her move into her new farm and they meet the sexy cowboy neighbor Dawson.  Esmae later meets the town vet Trenton when he checks out her new dog Ralph. 

This was a great listen and I enjoyed all the characters.  It was flirty and funny with this love triangle going on.  PJ Wood is great as a narrator. Her voices are perfect for each person and I really enjoyed listening to her in this book.

This book ends with us not knowing who Esmae decides she wants to be with.  I am looking forward to the next book to see which one of these sexy men she decides to take the plunge with.  I know who I would choose for her.

Great Book and Wonderful Narration

I loved reading this book and it was fun to listen to it. Wonderful narration.

Small Town Romance

A sweet small town romance. A great beginning to a series. The main character is very spiritual but if that’s not your thing it doesn’t take away from the story at all. If you like this story, you’ll definitely have to read book 2.

What a pleasure!

Now this is the kind of listen I enjoy when I am walking! Esmae is coming off a bad break up and needs a change. She takes some money she has and leaves the big city and buys a farm. Does she know anything about farming? No. But what an adventure. From selling her Audi to get a pickup to getting animals she had no idea she ordered, she is never rattled. She takes it all in stride and finds her way. But that's just the farm. When it comes to men, she is a mess. Two are ready, willing and able to start a relationship with this vibrant woman, but she has them both friendzoned. She can't let anyone into her heart again. Or can she? Give this one a listen. You will love her dog Ralph, the zoo of animals and Esmae's best friend Veronica, as well as try and figure out which man is better for her, Dawson or Trenton? Easy to listen to, and fun! I can't wait for book two to see what she ends up doing next!

PJ Wood performs a narration that is full of humor, love and excitement. I love her voices as she gives each one a voice that fits the character. Her pace is easy to follow and her style is perfect for this story. I will be looking for more by her.
