Jesus knew the crowd's expectations - they wanted a conquering king on a warhorse. Instead, He came humbly on a donkey, choosing the cross over the crown we all would have chosen.

"You would have no authority over me if it hadn't been given to you from above" (John 19:11). Even on trial, Jesus remained in complete control, willingly laying down His life.

The King who deserved the crown chose the cross - for you, for me, for all of us. That's love beyond measure. ❤️✝️

In His final hours before the cross, Jesus' heart was burdened. His instinct? Go to the Father in prayer. But here's what's remarkable - He wasn't just praying for Himself or even just His twelve disciples. He was praying for everyone who would believe through their message. That includes us.
