Publisher's Summary

I need a wife to save my daughter. She needs my magic.

I loved her like a sister forever ago.

Before life served us tragedy with a bitter cherry on top.

Before I learned love isn't a damn fairy tale.

Before I became a single dad.

Protecting my little girl is all I still care about. Kendra is my lifeline if she'll just play along.

Her job is easy. Wear my ring. Turn my scowl into a family man's smile. Help save my daughter from a scorched earth custody fight.

She gets the Cinderella treatment in return. My money, my mansion, my reputation. I'll put the glass slippers she's slaving over on main street and bend the world to her designer genius.

Simple. Painless. Mutual.

If only she was the shy thing I remembered, and I wasn't the same red-blooded maniac who wanted her under me years ago.

My wall of ice isn't working like it should. Not when we trade barbs that make me throb. Not when I grab her hair. Not when I can't decide if I want to push her away, or drink those lips in an unending kiss.

Complicated. Messy. Cruel.

That's our crazy truth.

This madness ends one way: Cinderella undone, or me in stitches.

This book may cause frantic overheating and an ugly cry or two. Complete full length standalone romance novel. Alpha male abundance. Happily ever after like a rainbow at the end of the storm. Find out why Wall Street Journal best-selling author Nicole Snow makes readers swoon!

Bad Narration

The story line was ok not the greatest thing I’ve read. Definitely had a lot of head shaking moments and the female character really started bothering me at the end. But I’m easy to please so I looked pass all of that but the narration was HORRIBLE! Omg! The male characters “female” voices were a little creepy, especially the daughter. More distracting then anything. And he read so dramatically. He seriously over did it. Not everything was so dramatic lol. The female was soooooo dry and boring. She read like she was reading a menu. Maybe not even that because I show way more excitement for food then she did this story. It was just sooo bad. Everytime it was her turn I dreaded it. I will be sure to write her name down to ensure that I don’t get stuck with a story of hers again. Overall not a bad book but I’d stick to the kindle version.

Could be better

This reads like it was written by a man who thinks he’s a sex God. The male narrator was over dramatic. The female narrator was good. Both the story and the narrator could have been better.

Really???

I sometimes write spoilers to explain my feedbacks. I do write ***SPOILERS ALERT*** when I do it to give people a heads up. Here, I will just generalize and say that the main characters (both male and female lead) don't have an ounce of common sense, and are just plain stupid, although they are written to supposedly be intelligent, and capable. A generalized example would be 1. You are in real and present danger, yet you choose to talk to a stranger, not call anybody to let them know, open your door to a stranger without anything to defend yourself with, give a stranger access to your home and anything in it. 2. You are supposed to have a set of skills (remember the movie "Taken" - he had skills and he used them), however, something happens, and you decide to confront the situation completely unprepared, and those skills you are supposed to have, seem to leave you when you need them the most. 3. You try negotiating with a bad guy, you give this bad guy something precious to you to guard, you put this bad guy at your back, REALLY? 4. You have somebody treat you like dirt for years, and you are just fine with it after a short explanation, then get treated like dirt again, and no explanations needed, because the person treating you like dirt couldn't use his skills - yet again (and against somebody way below his supposedly skill set) and gets hurt... Sooooo, even if this is fiction, if you are writing a character to be smart, you should write him/her doing smart things (at least not too stupid), if you make a character that is supposed to have certain set of skills, you should write the character to at least be able to use some of those skills. This was a very frustrating read/listen.

Cinderella Undone

Well this was a first for me by this author and these narrators.

I enjoyed the story over all I found some parts of it to be over the top. Like the first half what I like more was the last half when things felt more real and less fairy tale like.

I think I will give this author more chances because I really enjoyed the strong characters and who well rounded they were.

The male narrator over did it just a bit but man is gruff voice delicious! The female was good a little timid if a voice can be timid well she sounded like it.

Narration needs help

The story line was just ok. The narration made this book in my opinion not one of Nicole’s best. The best part was the very end. My mistake was buying it

Intense but maybe too intense.

overall enjoyed the story. Personally I think the lead male character was a little too intense at times. but a little different spin to the story line than most.

Need Better writing in the sex scenes

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Better Narrator the way Archie read the sex scenes was making me laugh and shake my head.
Better writing in the sex scene also, example you better fucking cum, terrible

Would you be willing to try another one of Archie Montgomery and J.L. Middleton ’s performances?

no

Did Cinderella Undone inspire you to do anything?

yes return the book

I preferred reading the book

I have the book and I really enjoyed it, so I decided to get the recorded version. I could not stand his voice. It was too harsh.
And why, if you have both male and female narration, can they not go back and forth. Other authors manage to have a male narrator read all the male lines and a female narrator read all the female lines (thank you CS). Having the male narrator micmic his 4 year daughter old was not enjoyable.

Am I supposed to be laughing during the sexy times

I first read this book awhile back but while I'm working I will listen to audible. I have steadily been going through Nicole Snow's books. So it was this books turn. Seriously am I supposed to be laughing during the sex scenes? 🤔 because listening to the male narrator is hilarious. All his moaning, grunting and groaning especially when its his female's voice. I'm laughing just writing this thinking about it. I can ignore a lot when it comes to the narrators and I will here as well. But I'm sure Nicole didn't have laughter in mind while writing these scenes.

The one thing that irritates me now and also when I read the book was the way the H treats the h. Yeah I get war is horrible, I have a military brother, I dont want to experience it but that in no way justifies the way her treated her. Sometimes the h is tough about it but ultimately shes weak. He makes a phone call to his sister and BOOM it's all cleared up and they're making up. Man just once I'd love an author to just have the h be super strong. Yep I had sex with you, thanks for that, walk out leaving behind the douche and live her life. And since this is chick lit she'd of course find her perfect guy in the last few pages of the book. Sadly that never happens.

Is this worth a listen? I dont know, I'm easily entertained. Remember, I'm laughing through the sex scenes and I'm still listening.

Bad Narration

I couldn’t get past the second chapter. The female narrator was too bland and rushed while the male narrator was overly dramatic and slow (I can’t stress the overly dramatic enough).

Not for me

I have enjoyed a few other books from this author however Cinderella Undone was below par. The main character was not likeable at all. The female narrator was fine with the female character but I had trouble distinguishing between characters as her male voice was not noticeably different. This made it difficult to follow at times. The male narrator read so slowly that I had to increase the speed to get through his chapters. He was so completely overdramatic that it was laughable to the point of ridiculousness.
