I cried

I am not ashamed to admit that I cried. It was such a sad story with a lot of hardships I’m sure anyone could understand. The feelings of abandonment were truly sharp but at the same time the magic of Christmas was so wonderful. It was painful to listen to the things regarding societal prejudice as well as how an old woman could cause such an upheaval to so many lives, during Christmas no less. In the end though, it was sweet. Quite short but still, it was lovely.

An emotion-filled Clean Historical romance

“Churchyard Orphan” by Dolly Price This review is about what I liked about the story, or not. I received this audiobook as a gift, for which I am grateful, as I truly did like this story. I liked that the story was well written and the ground work was set for all subsequent revelations. This was a clean historical romance, and an emotional read for me. I cried several times during the reading of this literary adventure. I enjoyed the wee bit of magic inserted in this offering, and I really liked the narrator’s interpretation of the story. So it seems I liked everything about this story. Happy Reading !! Note: This is my honest review.
