Publisher's summary

Becca Fletcher has always hated Christmas, but she has her reasons for being Little Miss Grinch. Now, though, she can’t avoid her version of ho-ho-hell - because she’s travelling to the Comfort Food Cafe to spend the festive season with her sister Laura and her family. She’s expecting mulled wine, 24-hour Christmas movie marathons and all kinds of very merry torture.

Little does Becca know that the Comfort Food Cafe is like no other place on earth. Perched on a snow-covered hill, it’s a place full of friendship where broken hearts can heal, where new love can blossom and where Becca’s Christmas miracle really could happen - if only she can let it....

Christmas at the Comfort Food Cafe is the novella-length follow-up to the 2016 best seller Summer at the Comfort Food Cafe.

Terrible

Narrators voice was annoying, story was slow & boring. Had to stop listening after three chapters.

Alright

It was OK, not as good as the first and the narration was not for me at all. Found really difficult to listen to unfortunately

Another wonderful tale!!

Another story I loved! The author has a way of telling a tale so well that you relate to it straight away. There are parts where you laugh, parts where you tear up but mostly where you smile and feel all gooey inside!!! The narrator read it well with feeling and a very comical voice!! Highly recommended!!

Nothing happened

I read this for a book club, it was our 2021 festive selection. It’s not something I would usually choose. Everyone is implausibly kind and attractive and not much happens. Really dull

Waste of time

The story was slow and boring and the narrator was annoying. I wish I didn't save this book for Christmas for over a year because I would have been able to get a refund.
