At the retreat, she's not allowed to use her real name or reveal any personal information. Lottie just knows that her boyfriend is going to propose during lunch at one of London’s fanciest restaurants. But when his big question involves a trip abroad, not a trip down the aisle, she’s completely crushed. So when Ben, an old flame, calls her out of the blue and reminds Lottie of their pact to get married if they were both still single at 30, she jumps at the chance. No formal dates - just a quick march to the altar and a honeymoon on Ikonos, the sun-drenched Greek island where they first met years ago. Their family and friends are horrified. Fliss, Lottie’s older sister, knows that Lottie can be impulsive - but surely this is her worst decision yet.

really disappointed
so disappointed, was so looking forward to the next installment of the shopaholic that is Becky Brandon. the narrator is what did it for me. everyone sounded the same, monotone narration for the most part and if I didnt concentrate really hard I had no idea who was talking. No expression, no excitement and no bonkers Becky monologue. sorry had to give up at chapter 3 and will now get it on kindle as I still want to know what happens next.

Christmas Shopaholic
I truly loved listening to this latest book by Sophie Kinsella. I can’t remember the last time that I actually laughed out loud reading a book., but I did in this one.
The thing is that with some of the scrapes she got herself into and the extremes and stress that happen I can totally relate to.
Her pursuit of a present for her husband for Christmas is just brilliant. And trying to track down that one decoration for her tree was hysterical.
Loved the ending so much. Can’t wait for the next book.
