Great story

I love K. F. Breene ! In this story she has another great heroine strong, compassionate, and funny. The narrator is excellent, nice voice and bring the story alive .

Drama + Complimenting Humor = Win

K.F. Breene does not disappoint. Initially, I was concerned that this would not have the same vein of humor as her other books. Sometimes, I like to step out of the darker novels like those from the Black Dagger Brotherhood or something by Dianne Duvall. When I want to be interested but lighter, I prefer to step into something by this author (k.f.), Darynda Jones, or Shelly Laurenston. When I read the synopsis of this book, I thought maybe she was writing something more dramatic and focused on something serious. On one hand, yes, this is a more serious novel than the others I have read of hers, but on the other, it still has the vein of humor to balance it all out and make me smile. She brings humor and drama as always. I'm so glad I get to binge on this!

Wonderful start to the series.

Looking forward to book 2. World and character development way above average. Strong female lead and a matching male lead. Lots of danger and interesting side characters. Audible narration perfect.

love this story

This is my 2nd time listening to this series and I just love it and I would love to hear more stories like this as well. Well would love some sex in it of course but still an amazing story.

This is the first audio book I've read. Excellent I thoughly enjoyed it and look forward to reading the next

Good Storyline should make a movie

When I started listening, I was unsure if it was gonna to chick flicky for me but It turned out to be a really good story, now I have to listen to book 2

The storyline is good, narration is terrible.

I feel like the narrator here is extremely monotone and doesn't show emotions well with her voice. The story is good, but dang that voice is not great

Witty and fun

This is my next, new favorite series. K.F. Breene brings wit and charm to her characters. I finish one book and begin to devour the next. I don’t like spoilers, so all I will say, is this book is definitely worth your time.

Fantastic!

This book was excellent, the pacing and character development was expertly done. The characters did not behave predictably, leaving the reader pleasantly surprised at each turn.
