Excellent for helping new chinese learners!

I really enjoyed this audiobook. I enjoyed the pdf that goes along with it because I'm a visual learner. The voices are clear and the stories are helpful. Looking forward to relistening to them all!

I love this book and finally found it.

I finally found this book and it didn’t disappoint. I have learned so much vocabulary from this book that I will have no problem remembering. The stories will keep your attention and will help you read and understand characters and pinyin. Can’t wait to show my friends what I have learned.

A good book containing interesting stories.
I had already the paperback version, but having also taken this audible version, I could improve my listening comprehension skills!

Great for increasing useful vocabulary

I just got this audiobook today and have already listened to 3 of the stories. I can see that this will be a great way to help me remember vocabulary- something I’ve been struggling with. The stories are interesting and memorable. They are short enough not to be overwhelming. Of immense value is the pdf that accompanies the book. No need for the additional expense to buy the kindle copy or hard copy. This is something that has always annoyed me with other audiobooks. The one criticism I have so far is that this seems to be higher than a beginner level. I am currently working through the Standard Course HSK 3 level and the language and vocabulary in this audiobook seems much higher than beginner to me.

An Excellent Book to Learn Chinese!

I absolutely loved learning Chinese from Chinese Short Stories for Beginners! The book provides an interesting variety of stories and topics with a broad range of vocabulary. I originally bought this book to reinforce vocabulary that I already had learned. However, the book not only helped me review old vocabulary, it also taught me new words in engaging contexts. I highly recommend Chinese Short Stories for Beginners!
