What You’ll Learn
This course includes Lessons 11-15 from the Mandarin Chinese Level 2 program featuring 2.5 hours of language instruction. Each lesson provides 30 minutes of spoken language practice, with an introductory conversation, and new vocabulary and structures. Detailed instructions enable you to understand and participate in the conversation. Practice for vocabulary introduced in previous lessons is included in each lesson. The emphasis is on pronunciation and comprehension, and on learning to speak Mandarin Chinese.

Probably One of the Best so Far

I have done all the previous courses and I think this one was one of the best. The only issue I found in this course was the way they say, " Have a nice trip" is not really correct. The words they use are more of a poetic way of speaking than what an actual Chinese person would use. My girlfriend is from Taiwan and will point out many of the things that are more "text book talk" than actual conversational Mandarin. I highly recommend if you are learning Mandarin you run the words by a Chinese speaking friend to ensure you are using the correct ones for everyday conversation vs the polite " text book" way of speaking.
