As someone who is looking to improve my chess rating this was the perfect book, giving me a better understanding of the game.

Terrible Narration

I could not listen to more than the first chapter. The voice of the reader is obnoxious and has no variation. The timing and inflection make no sense at all. I think the book is ok, but I will never really know!

beginners guide

This book helped me improve in chess. But if you're not a beginner do NOT buy this. You'll most likely not enjoy it.
