Publisher's Summary

What good is a King without his Queen?

Sebastian....

I never wanted the crown, but now it's mine.
Instead of my freedom - instead of her.
But even though she’s not mine to keep, I can’t seem to stay away.

Penny....

The moment he became king, I knew we were over.

Now I’ve returned home some kind of conquering hero.
If only they all knew that we'd both lost our hearts.
If only I could stay out of the royal bed.

What good is being cocky if you can’t get what you want?

Sweet, hot and sexy!!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Nana Malone ha done it again! What a great love story. Cheeky King is absolutely correct. He pissed me off a lot with his antics as he fumbled with his conflicting emotions for Penny. Let's just say he deserved to grovel. Penny, on the other hand was weak for him, but held her ground as Seb fumbled and she was a badass at her job. Let me just emphasize that Nana Malone's skillful writings of Sebastian and Penny's love interactions are epic! I don't think anyone can write it better and narrate it better than Shane East. Dang it, he's good!🔥🔥🔥 I promise you will need a cold shower. I'm going in for another Nana Malone listen after I cool down.

Fairy Tale Ending

I enjoyed this conclusion to his majesty’s and Penny’s story. I struggled a bit with how Sebastian handled a few situations, but having lost a parent suddenly I also appreciate how well his handling of his grief was handled. Since this book picked up right where it ended, I was hoping for a bit more depth. It is a sweet story, but it wrapped up to quickly and had a few too many side stories that distracted. Still, I couldn’t knock a star off for that. Andi Arndt and Shane East did a great job on this installment as well...although I think both of them slipped with the accents here and there. *smile*

Cheeky King

Sebastian is struggling with the loss of his father and becoming king. He still can not believe that everything that happened in New York was all a lie. His biggest problem is that he can not get Penny out of his head even though he believes that he can not have her. Penny is uneasy being back home with everyone staring at her because of the great job that she did protect the prince in New York. Once being told she is being put on the king's personal guard, she is determined to do her job and keep her feelings for the cocky king under wraps. Cheeky King is the laugh out loud, the edge of your seat ending to Sebastian and Penny's story. Nana Malone keeps you glued to the pages trying to figure out what happened all while laughing at the banter between Sebastian and Penny as it and their sexual tension ramps up. Sebastian and Penny's enemies to lovers second chance romance comes to a perfect ending. Another amazing narration by both Shane East and Andi Arndt. These two are for sure in my favourite narrators' list.

Fantastic royal romance

Penny and Sebastian's story is such a sweet and swoony story with steamy scenes and just a twist, I couldn't let it go and then the end came and now I need book 2, I heard the audiobook and let me say, both narrators Andi Arndt and Shane East did a phenomenal job, I know this duo is fantastic always, but they did both characters one of the best characterizations they could do. I enjoyed it more than reading it on paper.

Enjoyed this followup to Cheeky Royal

This is the second book in the Royals undercover, and it's the continuation/conclusion of Penny and Sebastian's story from Cheeky Royal. It is well-written, witty, angsty and emotional. Shane East and Andi Arndt are a fantastic narration pair, and I know that I'm always going to love their work, whether it is angst or humor. There were a few times that I wished I could shake some sense into our main characters, but nothing overly dramatic, no drama just for drama's sake. The story really flowed organically and, thankfully, ended with Sebastian and Penny's happily-ever-after.

Revealing Romance.

It's been a long time coming. Cheeky Prince issued an invitation, Cheeky Royal set the stage and Cheeky King is the final chapter of the diary of Sebastian and Penny's forbidden romance. Nana Malone has created an adventurous tale of dangerous treachery, heartbreaking loss and undying love. The life of a Prince is never ordinary, but in Sebastian's case can prove deadly on so many levels. I don't say this often, but the Royals Undercover series, should really be read completely and in order. There were many red herrings on display in Cheeky Royal and Cheeky King finally reveals all. Their's was a romance years in the making, but the King finally gets his Queen.

Second BooK didn’t disappoint!

I waited till both books were out cause I hate cliff hangers that I can’t dive right into. Loved the characters and Narration. I’ve missed me some sexy Royal books and this one definitely filled my tank! Can’t get any better than Shane East! Please Nana...more Audible books with Andi and Shane!! Please!

Good Listen

🌟🌟🌟🌟 BOOK - 🌟🌟🌟 AUDIO - 🌟🌟🌟🌟 It my first book by this author and I enjoyed the story through audio. I thought the story was good but felt like some parts dragged when he releases he not angry anymore and her stop being stubborn. At the end they give in quickly and I wanted to know what everyone thought of the guard betrayal and we didn’t get that. We didn’t get what happened either so thought just some unanswered questions. I wanted to see what she did as queen too.

Fun, sexy, and suspenseful

Cheeky King This is the follow on to Cheeky Royal, and it’s fantastic. Whereas Cheeky Royal was more about the couple, Sebastian and Penelope, hiding who they truly were and falling for each other, Cheeky King is them trying to stay away from each other, Penelope is trying to do her job and protect the king, but Sebastian isn’t making it easy, his hurt is evident, and he lashes out at every turn. But neither of them can resist their chemistry and the sexual tension. Add in the suspense and the whodunit feel and it makes for a truly addictive story. It still had laugh out loud moments and the grovelling was done to perfection. You’ll note from my review of Cheeky Royal that I wanted a book for a certain couple, and now know why that won’t be happening. I was both saddened and happy about it. I still vote for a Michael story. Andi Arndt and Shane East perform this book and do a fabulous job. The issues I had with Cheeky Royal still existed, but I think I became accustomed to it as it didn’t feel as noticeable or jarring. Which is always a bonus. Shane and Andi really do work so well together.

great conclusion

This is book 2 and the conclusion of Sebastian and Penny. You should probably read the first book first but you could still figure out what's going on without it. The love-hate was great (and hot) and well done. Really enjoyed all the secondary characters and looking forward to their stories. Can we please have a brother MM story??? Narration was fabulous

Wow

Part two was awesome. He was trying so hard to fix his mistakes, and she was trying to find what she really wanted to do. Through in some brotherly banter and he was a great read. Narration was awesome too.
