A Cozy Queerwolf Story

De: Harmony Fuller

Narrado por: Jessie Elwyn

Falling for a werewolf was never part of the plan. Then again, neither was nearly dying by feed bag avalanche.

Daisy's job as a vet tech at the new Mayfield Meadows wolf sanctuary comes with threes things: questionable hazard pay, a clinic that used to be a barn, and a boss who's clearly in on a secret no one's telling her. But the real trouble starts when Rylee—a ridiculously attractive, infuriatingly calm woman with eyes too emerald to be human—saves Daisy from an untimely death by burlap.

It turns out, Rylee isn't just any ruggedly beautiful, chess-playing, suspiciously wolf-adjacent woman. She is a ruggedly beautiful, chess-playing wolf. A shifter, to be exact. And if Daisy had been paying more attention to her afternoon paranormal telenovelas, she might've figured it out before she made a complete fool of herself.

Now, Daisy has questions. So many questions. Like—why do the workers keep vanishing right before wolves appear? Do werewolves actually howl at the moon, or is that just Hollywood slander? And most importantly, why does she feel like she's already losing a game of chess she didn't know she was playing?

One thing's for sure: between sneaky moves, stolen kisses, and an entire pack watching her love life like it's their favorite soap opera, Daisy's about to find out just how fun and dangerous the game of hearts can be.

Contains mature themes.
