Publisher's Summary

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Rachel Van Dyken returns with a smoking-hot story about the satisfaction of plotting revenge on your ex - until he turns your world upside down again.

Austin Rogers's dreams of domestic bliss involved watching Netflix and eating hot dogs with the love of her life. But then he cheated on her. And dumped her - as if the whole thing was her fault. To maintain her pride and restore her sanity, she decides to get revenge. It feels immensely satisfying to plot her ex's downfall - but so does kissing him.

Thatch Holloway, a plastic surgeon straight out of residency, knows he ruined the best thing that ever happened to him. But not all cheaters are created equal. He got himself into this messed-up situation - true - but he has his reasons for what happened, and he'd do it all again to protect Austin.

He's not over her. And she's not over him.

Austin wants closure, but since Thatch refuses to give it to her, she takes matters into her own hands. She needs to write a human-interest piece for her MBA, so she demands the full plastic-surgery experience. Sparks fly as they're forced to work together. But Thatch isn't afraid to play dirty in return. And he's still hiding something - something that has the power to destroy not only Austin but their second chance at finding forever...

Cheater's Regret

This book was as good as the first, different but still good. When I was listening to book 1, I was hoping it was a part two. And I am glad there was a part two. Awesome read.

Funny as hell!

I nearly fell off my chair laughing so hard at this author's take on relationships. What a refreshing change to the way an author looks at love! Thank you !

A great romcom audiobook!

I really enjoyed this romcom. Not everything is as it seems.. I loved the banter between Thatch and Austin as well as their chemistry, hot!! I really liked the narrators Lucy Rivers and Alexander Cendese.

Another GREAT one by Rachel!

I was asked by the author for an honest review.

Austin Rogers’s dreams of domestic bliss involved watching Netflix and eating hot dogs with the love of her life. But then he cheated on her. And dumped her—as if the whole thing was her fault. To maintain her pride and restore her sanity, she decides to get revenge. It feels immensely satisfying to plot her ex’s downfall—but so does kissing him.

He’s not over her. And she’s not over him.

Austin wants closure, but since Thatch refuses to give it to her, she takes matters into her own hands. She needs to write a human-interest piece for her MBA, so she demands the full plastic-surgery experience. Sparks fly as they’re forced to work together. But Thatch isn’t afraid to play dirty in return. And he’s still hiding something—something that has the power to destroy not only Austin but their second chance at finding forever…

Rachel is one of my favorite authors! I loved this book! This series is freaking hilarious! I loved this story and I have truly enjoyed this book. It is well written and I can't wait to see what's next! If you love a funny romance book try this series! This series has kept me rolling on the floor dying laughing.

Awful

Too painful to even finish. This isn't a romance novel, it's a terrible attempt at comedy. Even cracking bad jokes during what's suppose to be the romantic parts. I hate leaving bad reviews but this book really earned it 👎🏼

So funny

So funny. Austin and Avery are a dangerous combination, but so damn funny. I actually had to give it up for Thatch because even though he broke up with Austin, it was clear he still had a lot of feelings for Austin. I liked how he made her feel beautiful, feel like a woman, and never made her feel bad about her penchant for sweet snacks and how curvy her body was. He loved her just the way she was. There is clearly more to his reasons for breaking up Austin and how his childhood really scarred him.

Also, really enjoyed the narration. Lucy River and Alexander Cendese were a great duo and helped make this story as funny as it was. I had a blast listening to this one.

Cheater's Regret

This is the second book and I recommend you read Lucas and Avery's book first. Austin Rogers is the daughter of the Mayor and working on her MBA and stressed to the max but nothing is worse than when the love of her life cheats on her with her best friend's sister. Thatch Holloway is a plastic surgeon and loves Austin and wants nothing more than to have her move in and spend the rest of his life with her but his life is imploding with his father moving in across the hall and keeping secrets about his parents and hers. Now when Austin needs to set up a blog for one of her classes she uses Thatch and his practice as the basis for it and getting close is just what they need to bring them close again. Will they be able to survive all the secrets even when they find out there is a bun in the oven? So. so good and so fun to listen to!

Nice listen

The story was good.
Not too much self chatter.
Smooth transition from the other book.
Narrators were good, if you don’t get the right ones they can really turn the listener off.

very enjoyable and funny

I really enjoyed this audio book. Both narrators were excellent, I think their voices especially Alexander doing a women's voice added to the humour. The story was funny, light hearted but had enough depth and drama to keep it engaging all the way through.

Not As Good…

I had such good hopes about this story and listened to it immediately after finishing its predecessor; but the storyline felt weak, the plot poor and my general feeling was of incredulity.

I'm worried that real relationships could peter out in this way - with an intense lack of communication - but if they can and do, I don't see how they can ever be successfully resolved, because this didn't satisfy that curiosity.

I also didn't really like the voices of the narrators , especially his, but that didn't totally detract from the book. However, I couldn't wait for this one to be finished. It still had some funny moments towards the end, but it was a struggle getting there...

I got these books as part of my Kindle Unlimited subscription. That is the only way to enjoy this book, in my opinion. However, the first book in the series is my favourite, this isn't even a close second. But still listen to it, if you've already listened to the first & make up your own mind.

Best read of 2017

After being recommended to this book a few times and hearing mixed reviews I thought I would give it a go. And it did not disappoint.
Even after the first few sentences I was hooked. I felt you really got to know each character and what they were about. Would definitely recommend this book to anyone! And the sister book "Cheater" is just as good too!

Really enjoyable

Loved it. It was really easy and enjoyable to listen to. I will definitely be listening to more books narrated by these narrators.
