Brad and Barry Klinge have been investigating paranormal occurrences for the last 20 years, and in Chasing Ghosts, Texas Style, they divulge some of their most exciting ghost encounters and analyze the science behind their paranormal hunts. Each chapter of this fascinating book focuses on the Klinge brothers' investigations into the creepiest of places and explains how they have been able to capture both audio and video of paranormal occurrences using their high-tech tools and a healthy dose of common sense. Even when faced with mysterious slamming doors and haunting pleas for help, these brothers never shy away from a bone-chilling encounter or another chance to investigate a centuries-old haunting.

Critic reviews

"In this enjoyable read, sure to entertain even skeptics, the Klinge brothers (founders of Everyday Paranormal and stars of the popular Discovery Channel show Ghost Lab) recount how they first became interested in ghosts, what led them to start their company, and why they decided to make scientific experimentation the hallmark of their practice." a scientific approach to ghost hunting and they also do the same things as other well known ghost hunter groups. this book is about the start of ghost lab and the guys that founded that group.

I really enjoyed the book. I met Brad, Barry and Katie several years ago in Beaumont Tx before I knew Ghost Lab was going into season 2. I was so impressed with their honest approach and straight forward talk that I immediately went home and watched the whole season. Of all the ghost shows, it remains my favorite of them. The book explains their life, their research and techniques. I'm impressed by their story telling and their ability to hang in throughout the disappointments. I will continue to follow their progress and love their"Texas" style! Keep up the good work. -fellow Texan

⭐⭐⭐ 3 STARS Had it for a long time. Finally listened to it. It was okay, but it could have been better. The brothers seem a little full of themselves for my liking. Overall, a decent read, just could have been more detailed and eye opening.

Meh. Okay.

Having had a few paranormal experiences, I seek out books and stories that document other experiences and perhaps provide information on such occurrances. This was an interesting "behind the scenes" look at those 'ghost hunting' shows on TV. (Most of which I cannot stand.) It talks about how they became interested in the paranormal and the problems they ran into with their team members attempting to fake stuff for a more dramatic experience. I felt like the Klinge brothers were just looking to document actual paranormal activity and find answers, not be actors in a scary movie. So thumbs up!

A great book for people with paranormal interests
