Harmony walks through the gates of hell, family dysfunction, and mental illness. It's mama's field behind the shed where Harmony finds solace and realizes that she isn't alone after the nighttime sky is filled with light from fireflies.
When she makes a trip downtown, she meets a handsome man named Landon, which later becomes her husband. Harmony experiences going through some dark tunnels where the light from a firefly continues to guide her out; she also hears the voice of a man, which later she finds out was from God. After she comes out on the other side of the door of the dark tunnel, she realizes that mama and Landon were on the other side waiting for her.
