Not exactly how these two do it, I really don't. But each time I start a new Mate Games world, I think to myself it can't be better than the last....and then they prove me wrong. We now have the Four Hoursemen of the Apocalypse...yup those guys...but they are not out to destroy the world, oh no they are tasked with saving it. If they can just get one thing accomplished. Oh and of course it's not going to be easy because well...why would it?
I absolutely loved the full cast narration. If you get a chance to listen to the audiobook do it, it will change your life

Chaos is book 2 of the MateGames: Apocalypse. you must read them in order. (it's not a hardship... trust me) My hell! this series is gonna be the death of me. I have loved every word that has been written, every sentence that has been read! I can't even begin to describe the level of joy this book brought out of me, but to be fair, Sin was just as delicious. there is no choosing a favorite. you take them all, and you love them equally.
We are back with our rage tag team of morally gray men, our deliciously sweet heroine, and a villain that is litterally Lucifer. We learn more about all the men (a.k.a, everyone's new book boyfriends) watching them become more transfixed by Merri. Chaos hooked me in immediately! I was captivated, and I didn't want the book to come to an end. like I am talking, abandon all responsibilities captivating. I, for one, will wait on pins and needles ready to devour book 3. Well done, ladies!

Oh my gosh!!!!! it was awesome!!! I have no words. They all nailed it! This full cast is straight-up perfection! If you have ever been on the fence about an audio. This would be the perfect book to dive into! I highly recommend it! HIGHLY!

Just so freaking good!!

These stories are just so good! You laugh, you mourn, you tingle, you laugh some more and you want more of it all!! Kim and Meg write such amazing stories that are so fluid and captivating. So much intrigue and twists to go through in book 2 and I cannot wait to listen for what book 3 has to offer. The balance between humor and spice and emotion is perfect. The cast is simple the best. James’ French accent has me weak. It’s all just so ridiculously brilliant and good you just have to listen to experience this magic for yourself.

Best Cast Ever!!!

I don’t know what I will do when this series is done! The narrators bring the story and characters to life. I can’t tell you how much I enjoy listening to them. Can’t wait for the next book!!!

Wow! This book, this series & these audio performances!

I love this series!! The creativity🤯 the characters! The plot is plotting and the spice is spicing as usual. 5 🌶️ 5 ⭐️ The humor is spot-on, flowing nicely into the more intense moments. Each character is so well-developed, with unique quirks that make them relatable and memorable.
What I love most about this series is its originality. These authors brilliantly combine the tropes we love while creating a world that's not only entertaining but also incredibly immersive. The voice actors are some of my favorites and they seriously deliver, K. Lorraine and Meg have mastered this process and the voices for each character is perfection. Looking forward to the next! Highly recommended!

Never disappointed...

The newest installment of The Mate Games is here and boy, it did not disappoint. The story and narration is on point as always. The spice is spicing. The banter is superb. The four horsemen have never been sexier. Read it, listen to it... You know you want to.

A Wild & Steamy Ride! Another Incredible Story & Listen🎧

Meg Anne and K. Loraine continue to blow me away with another exciting “Mate Games” novel, and this second Apocalypse book picks up right after the first book, not to be missed, book ended. Merri’s men have one duty, to keep her safe, not so easy when there is a diabolical plan to end the world as they know it and the devil has an interest in her. Chaos ,Sinclair, Malice, Grimsby, and Merri are staying on a remote island in France, hidden away from the rest of the world that is turning upside down. The men know what they need to do, but getting Merri on board is another matter, so they brainstorm to come up with plans. Merri is also looking for creative ways to feed her needs, coming up with one that she thought was safe for the one she is feeding off of, but learns it is forbidden. Chaos and Sin do not disappoint with their creative ways to feed their needs, smoking hot and extremely passionate ways. Meanwhile, Lucifer is trying to make his way in to Merri’s bed, I mean head. Lots going on in the world, who to trust, who not to is getting more difficult, and there is a lot on the line, the whole world. This is a fast moving, cleverly plotted story with non-stop drama, witty dialogue and humor, off the charts heat, and an ending that leaving you needing more. Meg Anne and K. Loraine, thank you for another amazing story and the thrilling and wild ride.

🎧📚🎧 This excellent multi-cast production is everything, performed in duet by the superbly talented Stella Hunter, Jason Clarke, James Joseph, J.F. Harding, Shane East, Teddy Hamilton, Christian Fox and Lauren Landa is a gem of a listen. These narrators make an amazing team, with voices and talent that complement each other and an entertaining performance that keeps you glued to the story. You can hear their energy and how much heart they put into their performance as they capture all the characters’ emotions and have you feeling them all. It is a pleasure to listen to these incredible voice actors and their performance takes this already amazing story to another level.

Can't wait for the rest of the story!

This series is my favorite after the original Mate Games with Sunday and her men. I hope we don't have to wait too long for the next book.

Obsessed with the audiobook version!

Listening to Chaos: The Mate Games on audio took the story to a whole new level. The narrators did an amazing job bringing each character to life—the emotion, the tension, and the chemistry were all so vivid. I was completely immersed in the dark, addictive world, and the performance made it impossible to stop listening. If you love steamy fantasy romance with an edge and great narration, this audiobook is a must! Definitely one of my favorite listens this year.

I LOVE ALL OF THE MATE GAMES BOOKS!!! This one is amazing too!! This is one of many books in the Mate Games world. The entire series is split up into…. Seasons? Maybe? All are Why Choose?/Reverse Harem. So, the first “season” is The Mate Games: War, which consists of 4 books and a Novella. Then it goes to The Mate Games: Pestilence, which also consists of 4 books and a Novella. Next is The Mate Games: Death, which consists of 4 books.

This book is The Mate Games: Apocalypse Book 2 - Chaos. It is the continuation of the story about a succubus, Meredith Anne Devereaux (Merri), & the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: Death, War, Pestilence & Famine… AKA Grimsby (Grim), Chaos, Malice, & Sinclair (Sin). They all have chapters from their own POV. Lucifer is also a key player and does have POV chapters in the book as well. He wants his vessel and will not stop at trying to get to her. Continuing from Book 1 - Sin, the Horsemen are dead set on trying to stop the Apocalypse by breeding her before Lucifer can get her pregnant which would officially cause the end of the world if she births the Antichrist. They believe if one of the Four can get her pregnant first, they would win by stopping the apocalypse. In this book, they begin to realize maybe it’s not that easy. Folks are starting to catch feelings & things start to get more complicated. The one word that sticks out with this book is ANGST!!! It’s a killer in this one!

The spice in this book is sooooo good, as are all of the books in this series (and by these authors!)! Also, they do such a fun job of immersing you into this world. Once again, they bring back characters from the other “seasons” which keeps everything fresh and tied together so well. It really makes them all so much more fun to read! At the same time, it’s the literal apocalypse with natural disasters and princes of hell being released. It’s a nice balance between fun and terrible. I have fallen in love with each character so far. The girls in each season are so blessed with their men. Each little harem contain big personalities and so much love (& lust ❤️‍🔥). It’s truly a joy to see them all come together as a unit. I believe Apocalypse is the final “season.” In a recent live, they said it would have 5 books total. This book was released on 4/21/2025. The next one, Malice, shows to release July 14, 2025.

Now, the biggest treat of it all is the AUDIOBOOKS!!! They are truly phenomenal and fully duet style with a full cast! The best narrators are in this series! Jason Clarke (my absolute favorite after Father Gallagher in the very first book), JF Harding, James Joseph, Shane East, Teddy Hamilton, Stella Hunter… which, fun fact, I learned recently is also the author K. Loraine! The banter and chemistry between all these narrators is ahhhhmazing!!!!! You must experience these audiobooks! This series is one of my top favorite book series.

Also, more treats are the bonuses & extras! They have many bonus scenes for this series to be downloaded into BookFunnel, even full cast audio versions which are so fun to hear!! At the end of each book they give you the website to download the bonus scenes. The Mate Games actually has its own website which has book art of all the characters with their personal info and stuff like that. Their other Mate Games series Twisted Cross Ranch is also amazing & I believe they will be releasing more books in that world at some point, too.
