Redundant. Takes forever to get to the point.

What did you like best about Change the Culture, Change the Game? What did you like least?

The author spends so much time telling you about his first book it makes you wonder why he bothered to write the second one. After reading the second one I had to wonder if the first one was all fluff too.

If you’ve listened to books by Roger Connors and Tom Smith before, how does this one compare?

I have not.

Have you listened to any of Lloyd James’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Don't know.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Definitely not.

Any additional comments?

There is something to learn here but this book was written to extend the revenue stream from those who read the first book.

Excellent concepts

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, it was most useful. My only warning is that there are so many diagrams and lists you will most likely need to buy the book too

Garbage. Don't bother

Would you try another book from Roger Connors and Tom Smith and/or Lloyd James?

No

Has Change the Culture, Change the Game turned you off from other books in this genre?

No

How could the performance have been better?

The book claims to have a winning recipe and concrete examples of "how" they accomplish their stated objective but all they do is repeat the same cliches and references a few simple, silly models. I felt silly for taking in this information

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Not really

Interesting, good narration.

Not nearly as confusing as some reviews are making out! You have Actions (A), Beliefs (B), Culture (C), Experiences (E), and Results (R). Then you have '1' as the 'before' state and ’2' and the 'after' state. That's it. I thought the book was interesting and well narrated, and certainly worth reading if you are considering embarking on culture change in your organization.

True to change results

Would you consider the audio edition of Change the Culture, Change the Game to be better than the print version?

I first read in english,I enjoy so much that when I saw in portuguies I bought, that surch for it in audio. IT IS GRATE, every morning I walk 2 miles one dowhill one uphill with my audio series, probably every two weeks I here this audio again to lear a little more of the grate tools.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes my first grate perception that to change I must go more deep as results come from culture and beliefs. First I get a conviction of how careful I must be when admit someone to work with me. Second that to get the results I want I must change my culture and the culture of the teams I manage. Third that is a real work of leaders. It make's me feel strong and confident.

Any additional comments?

I such for tools to change for two reasons, first, to prepare myself to get better results of what I want. Second in this chaotic changing world fell necessary to stay renewing my attitudes and way of thinking to be prepared and take advantage of the opportunities and difficulties. Change the culture and change the game is helping me a lot. I could understand what primary ground support for results, culture and beliefs. More than change actions I need to change my beliefs and the beliefs of others or groups to generate different results. I start with mine. Anxiety: Nothing more than see a bad end of something. So I am changing may way to think I reframe that can get grate results and check for opportunities that a difficult can have. Stress: my stress was making damage to my health and getting difficult times with family and teams, and making me to have fewer results. It comes with different sensations from problems that seems I can’t control results. My thinking changes; the world is chaotic it is a reality I must fill grate to the challenges and difficulties that make me advance and grow. To prepare myself for chaos I run a motorcycle in the middle o a grate traffic with trucks buses and accept chaos as an adventure that hapeens if I want or not. I change my vision to be to serious for see life as a game, see everything like a chess movement, accept and handle difficulties as an way for new improvement. Change beliefs to me is very difficult I must exercise constantly, but I change, now I have very few anxiety and stress that is helping me much to have better attitudes get faster and better results with myself, others, and teams. I read lots of books for getting better results and consider this one audio one of the 5 that I must constant use as my guide. I AM CHANGING MY GAME
