It begins with a story of a genius and his only child, a daughter, in “Chamber Contact.” They are captives on a tyrant earth, inhabited only by miscreants and criminals, while all of earth’s elite are safely living in orbit in a space station. The father and daughter have escaped underground and are working on a transport that will get them off the ground and away from the evil element and into the space station. A genius boy discovers them, but keeps their secret as he is in love with the daughter. But is the boy a true lover or a traitor? There is a race to finish the transport and escape before they are discovered and before the father’s mortal sickness claims him.
