Great Book to listen to

This book is about Hunter the leader of the vampires clan Moonbound. Hunter will do anything to save his clan from extinction or worse. Hunter had to make a deal to save his first born so he has to take three deadly tests and make it out alive so it takes his soon to be sister-in-law. Hunter tries to keep her a bay all though the tests but it is hard because the way they have to get to the test and what happens in the tests and how they have to get out of the test. But now would be the time to Buy the book and find out what happens to the people in it. Worth buying and reading. Will be buying more from this author.

Excellent sequel…

Excellent sequel I really enjoyed getting to know Hunter better. As well as following the growth of Alieen. It was good. Definitely if not better than the first one. I'm glad I gave it a chance

Exquisite!

So wrapped up in the story that I could hardly put it down! It left me wanting more!

Narrator's Dan make or Break a book.

the story line was good but the narrator sometimes seems to stretch for a certain voice which took away from the reading.

Better than the first book.

I wasn't a big fan of the first book Bound by Night, I thought the series may have potential so I went ahead and purchased this one. Then I found myself passing this book over for others, I had no real desire to see if this book was better than the first. Which is why it took me a while to listen to it. Luckily this book is better than the first, although still not as good as the Demonica/Horseman series. In the last book the biggest factor that bugged me was the characters, I didn't really like them. In this book I liked Hunter and Aylin much better and I was interested in how their future would turn out. I will be giving this series another shot if Larissa Ione writes another, but my hopes are for more books in the Demonica/Horseman series to be written. If you liked the first book then get this book, but if you are not a fan then this book is more of the same. Narrator was okay, but luckily for me not all narrators are a make it or break it deal.

Vampire Romance

The world the author has created is unique... a different present day, which includes vampires. The romance is spot on with an alpha male, but still sweet and a heroine who you can connect with.

I loved the mix up with the twin vampire sisters. It was funny to read, even if the characters weren’t too amused.

This book was interesting and exciting. I like all of the books in her series.

Enthralling Sequel

After a slightly disappointing series opener, this book rallied. I really enjoyed the interplay between these two characters, the focus on the different cultures of the warring vampire clans, and the resolution that involved appropriate self-sacrifice.

Why so few books?

I probably should have done some more research before getting the first novel, in this series. I am really loving the stories and the characters and I thought I was going to have another juicy series to sink my teeth in. I was wrong. There are only two novels and a novella, written in this series. Such a disappointment. Apparently, these three books are related to a few of her other series; but there won’t be a story about every warrior in the Moonbound clan. We can only hope this author returns to this series, in the future, to write more books, in this series.
