Publisher's Summary

After my uncle Fame run his wife off for messing around with his brother, we thought for sure we seen the last of 'em. Good riddance to bad blood, right?

Only, weren't no Happy Ever After in store for any of us. When my errant aunt and uncle turned up dead on Cemetery Hill, was Fame what was arrested for the crime, and me he turned to for help, on account of the long-standing blood feud between him and the sheriff.

I weren't one for keeping my nose outta trouble nohow, but once I started poking around, trouble weren't the only problem I found.

Cemetery Hill

Wow Sunshine is on the case. Will she be able to clear a family member with her investigating. This listen had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. The Author and Narrator has done a fantastic job. Theres twists and turns that I didn't see coming. This would make a fantastic series on Netflix. I love this series and definitely recommend it. A Fantastic Sequel!

This is the third book in the series of Sunshine Walking Stick and it amazes me how each book just keeps getting better! The latest monster adventure delves into the Cherokee legends and this one is affecting her family. Sunny must solve, hunt, and protect her family in this adventure. Each book in this series leaves you wanting more! I am hoping there will be another! Thank you for a great read and narration!

That's a solid 6🌟s !!!

Welcome to Sunshine Walkingstick's world, where things ain't always what they seem... Where a crime scene mightn't not'a be just a crime scene, not when haints show up and the scent of wrong hangs in the air, and even the wind it'self starts whispering to her! This is Sunshine's world and she's a Cryptid hunter, fightin' monsters that go bumpin' in the night! To Sunshine, family is everything, and there ain't nuthin' she won't do to protect 'em! In Cemetery Hill she finds herself some riddles, and chasin' the answers, ends up gettin' her stuck between a rock and a hard place! Once again, Rebecca Winder with her sweet Appalachian accent, captures every nuanced moment, and knocks this one outta the park! And, as for me, well my cryptid lovin' heart, loved every minute of it! Oh, and yes I looked up the legend, it's there! In case you doubt... LOL          That's a solid 6 🌟's outta 5!!!

For the family

Sunshine is back and taking on another mystery from her past, the disappearance of her uncles wife and brother. I love the small town relationships and the way they weave into mythology in surprising ways. The voice of Sunshine's character seem real and is delivered perfectly by the narrator. I feel like she is someone I could talk to at the piggly wiggly. I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

It keeps getting better and better...

I have enjoyed this series and every book keeps getting even more interesting. I really enjoy the main character. She is so brave and stubborn. Her romance with Riley keeps developing slowly and she still has a hard time trusting their relationship. Narration is outstanding and brings all the characters to life. There is a lot of family drama going on in this book. Sunshine has a hard time accepting help and wants to do everything by herself. Riley is so patient and loving! Sunshine is one lucky girl! There are a lot of unanswered questions in this book that I’m hoping will be explained in the next book. I wonder what is the thing she has been keeping in a cage called... I enjoyed this book and I’m looking forward to the next one. "I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review."

An Awesome Listen

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request, and have voluntarily left this review. This series just keeps getting better. Sunshine is such a refreshing character and the plot is based on normal situation, but the circumstance is far from normal. All the characters in this series are very well written and developed that you find yourself cheering some and booing others. Book 3 ended to quickly and I'm looking forward to book 4.

Entertaining

I got this story via the author and this is my voluntary review. I found this to be an entertaining story. The narrator did the voices very well and the twists and turns that the story took you on were and interesting set. All of the story is viewed through the eyes of the heroine and she sees things a bit differently than most.

Series keeps getting better!

This third book in the Sunshine Walkingstick series is excellent. At this point, Sunny is still insecure in Riley's love for her, and I'm starting to wonder if the author will ever explain exactly why she's so dang suspicious. I hope the author does. As always, Sunny is sassy, loyal, and fearless in protecting her loved ones from monsters of folklore and real life. The narrator is phenomenal. I don't know how she keeps that accent for the whole book!
