Great and concise explanation

This was personally helpful to me. It verified some ideas I had already formed and supported the writing through the scriptures. God used this book to speak to me as a Christ-follower. Thank you for sharing your personal story.

the book is well written.

easy read. although I did not fully agree with every single conclusion (such as arguable doctrinal differences like what day to practice the sabbath) I appreciate the thoughts that lead me to confirm scriptural reason for my beliefs. unarguable is that Jesus is Lord and we are saved by grace through faith. having grown up Catholic I am so greatful God opened my blind eyes and pray he will do the same for my family and friends. Thank you for your book.

I absolutely have been recommending this book to all my friends and family! I have Many who are in the Catholic Church currently. I am hoping that they read this book and come to the same realization the author dead. I know I'm going to be hitting my scripture a little bit harder. Thank you for writing such a wonderful well put together book

thank you, very eye opening . I was a convert to catholic faith at 18. I was raised allowed to go to a Nazarene church if the pastor either picked us up or arranged for a ride. My parents never went. We had a bible in the living room but it was never opened except to enter a death in the family. I’ve never read the Bible myself but have listened intently to the word of God from others. I’ve become very disillusioned with the Catholic Church for various reasons.I’ve tried to distance those thoughts and know I’ve got a personal relationship with Jesus, but it’s not working anymore. Not the relationship but pretending I’m not aware in the discrepancy and control of being Catholic. I’ve not attended mass for some time. Started going to a bible based church mainly to get my older brother into a church. To make a long story shorter, your book really explained a lot and relieved the guilt I’ve been carrying. I’m 77 years old and it’s never too late to learn. Just wanted to say Thank You for writing it.

If only they would listen

Solid story of a search for truth in one's faith. If only more people would take the time and actual effort to seek to know the truth. This a total departure from the opposite book Fundamentalism to Catholic. In that book, they guy clearly wanted/expected the faith to function a certain way and followed his preferences. Ironically this story is way shorter because in truth, it doesn't take much to figure out Catholicism and the Bible don't line up. Gives me hope my peeps might wake up too.
One thing I will say, it seems he might be caught up by a bit of a funky denomination that is more legalistic. Highlighted by him fronting on Christmas and one or two other funky points. If it wasn't for that, it would be a 5

It needed to be said

This story explains how a man went from blind Catholic to asking questions like “where is this in the bible?”
As the story continues it asks more and more questions that can only be answered by saying “because the church said so”.
Applying my own logic, I think the Catholic Church created many of their Dogmas to keep and expand their power. I finally started reading the bible after listening to this one.

Absolutely incredible !!!

I just listened to the entire book. I had been a Roman Catholic for almost 54 years !!!
Totally devoted to the Catholic Church. I was in a verbally abusive marriage for almost 28 years. My precious LORD and SAVIOR gave me HIS strength to finally leave the marriage.
I then prayed for a MAN OF GOD which I was blessed with 3 years later.
Well .., my Randy led me to a personal relationship with JESUS CHRIST !!!!
I am now born again and have experienced exceedingly abundantly more than I could have asked or imagined !!!!
You have answered so many of the questions I have had about the catholic religion. My husband said to me that I didn’t truly understand the love of GOD because of my Catholic background and told me to listen to your entire book.
I am so very glad I did !!!
I am so saddened that so many people are being misled by the Catholic Church.
I can NOT thank you enough for enlightening me so much !!!
