Charming but sad

Charming, then dreadfully sad, yet with some hope for redemption — and so well written and narrated.

Simply exquisite

I expect no less from Clare and Brennan. The authors embrace the readers in the tale of Mathew.

loved it

I feel that in this short we got to see another side of Matthew than just the happy carefree one.

Cast long shadows book 2

My wish arrived to hear again the lives of Jem, Will, Charles and Charlotte stirred the beloved time of the clockwork creatures. I love this period of time and wish so much more came to share theae beloved characters.

loved them, but they are out of order so read this one as book #1 they will read better.

Outstanding

As usual a tale that grips the soul, this bringing back my previously loved TID with the brilliance of Jonathan Bailey's narration is a joy that pulls at my heartstrings for more to come from our beloved Shadowhunter families.

Excellent book with a hauntingly sad ending...

I know this isn't the end and I cannot wait to continue, I love this author perhaps because she gives such hard and sad back stories to some of the nicest or happiest characters. I love this series and everything this author has written.

the narration was good

The narration was pretty good, thats usually a deal breaker for me when listening to audio books

Not my bag

"I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review." I chose this book hoping for a good mystery; I was wrong., I'm not into science fiction and did not understand some parts of the story. As far a I could tell, the authors did a good job and the narration was very well done. My only wish was that Matthew had told the truth.
