Forced to confront not only nature but the inner workings of the corporate world, Stride faces off against a group he brushed up against a year previous, and the relatively simple task of locating a missing person becomes far more complicated.

Calling on all his skills and experience, Stride is forced to fight to stay alive not only against the harsh savageness of the mountains, but also against the demented mindset of those unwilling to give up what they have taken.
