What a wild ride!

This book had me from the get go - I couldn't stop. So well written and beautifully narrated. A true account of a woman's journey through a nightmarish experience of having a life-threatening medical emergency during, what was suppose to be her time of reprieve and inner healing, and having a lost-in-translation moment at the most inopportune time. What a wild ride!

Immediately and emotionally engaging, she brings you along her entire journey, providing the perfect amount of preamble and context, leading up to the seminal event, and beyond in to the important changes and life lessons she found, that are easy take away for any reader/listener.

Remy also expertly narrates her own work in the Audio version. Her voice acting rivals professional narrators and the emotion she puts in to many passages throughout, are a significant boon you simply would never get from a 3rd party narrator. One of the best performances I've heard for an audiobook, period.
