Publisher's summary

You might think you know quite everything about the carrot. As this is a popular vegetable eaten at any meal - at breakfast, lunch, dinner and in-between snacks.

But this seemingly ordinary vegetable has many secrets that will delight you. Did you know that carrots come in every color of the rainbow?

Did you know that carrots, were once upon a time, used exclusively as medicine? Did you know that carrots are one of the most effective natural insecticides?

Did you know that carrots can be as addictive as coffee and even give you withdrawal symptoms?

I would let Angel explain this to me again

The content was not nearly as hilarious as Kevin Hart's "Let Me Explain," but boy was it an exciting book. I had no idea that something I eat so often could be significant in so many ways. The wonders of the carrot used to elude me, but I am forever grateful that I have been enlightened by this treasure of a book. If only I could convince my book club that this is worth the listen, I would make them my favorite carrot dish for us to eat as we talked it over.
