Excellent finish to a wonderful trilogy

This is the third (and sadly, final) installment of the wonderful Archer's Beach trilogy from Sharon Lee. As with the two previous books in the trilogy, this Carousel Seas is excellently narrated by Elizabeth Rodgers.

If you haven't read the earlier books, stop reading this review and go immediately to grab Carousel Tides (http://www.audible.com/pd/Sci-Fi-Fantasy/Carousel-Tides-Audiobook/B0049650A6), the first book in the series, and settle back to the start of a wonderful read. You won't be sorry.

In this third book, the action and problems focus on the sea as much as the land. The Guardian of the Gulf of Maine, Borgan, is challenged by a former sea goddess who attempts to possess him. Meanwhile, the problems on the sea add to the problems of the land, where decisions made "away" in New Jersey threaten to change Archer's Beach forever, destroying everything that makes it special.

This final book in the trilogy brings all the threads in the earlier books together and provides closure for the series. While I wish we might have more, much more, about Kate, Borgan, Peggy, and all the trenvay, at least we aren't left hanging. All in all, an excellent book and highly recommended.

Wonderfully excellent wrap up for a great story.

Really enjoyed the entire trilogy but must say the last was the best. This book left me with the feeling as if 'something' has finally been set aright. Good Series!

Just loved all three can listen anytime I want just love them . Thank you very much Kate and Borges are fibine

She ties it all up in unexpected ways. I love how it all turned out. The power of community is amazing.

I just keep listening to this series over and over

I can't figure out why, except I am enchanted with the narrator's excellent Main accent. She is just so good at it. Sharon Lee tells a good story too. In the third book the antagonist makes me prefer evil wizards but we're not supposed to like the antagonists are we?

What an achievement

Love these books. What an achievement, this trilogy. And a fitting conclusion to the series and the Archer's Beach story that I wish could never end.

Satisfying end to the story.

It was a good end to the story begun in Carousel Tides. I would have liked some better resolution to the oddity of the rooster, but it was a small quibble.

Performance wise, I found the narrators ability to provide what sounded like a good Northeast accent accentuated the feel of being in Maine.
