Emilia and Nico

This is my first Jordan Marie book and it was very good. Emilia's father asked Nico to marry her. Although against it, he would do anything for her father. When enemies try to take Emilia, Nico shows just how he earned the name Devil. Heather Firth and James Cassidy did a great job with the narration.

Good story, narrators are insanely good. Sexy but full of suspense. And Nico’s dirty mouth 🌶️🌶️

WOW, just WOW!

This one took me by surprise. I like an “occasional” mafia trope, but usually find them too “Alpha over the top”. This one manages to blend the menace with the romance extremely well.

I don’t want to give too much away, but the MMC is very human and can be genuinely tender, yet also very deadly. We see just how violent he could be when those he loves are hurt or threatened. The FMC starts out way too young. As the years pass, we get to see characters develop and watch her mature as well.

If you are not new to the genre, you can imagine what triggers you may find, so I won’t explore those.

The Performances are EXCELLENT.

This is the first of this genre I’ve added to my favorites and I will look for more by Jordan Marie.

It was a pleasant reading.

Likes this book my only concern was that Emily was a little whiny and got on my nerves. But other than that, it was ok.

Loved it!

I loved this story! The only thing I didn’t like is why we didn’t get a preview as to why Zoey was crying felt like Nico’s best friends cheated on her. I know we had more important things like the funeral and Nico being in a coma, but I really wish they would’ve touched bases on that.

Hot Hot Hot

James Cassidy the male author is amazing. He’s my new boyfriend 🤩😍. This story was very hot! Nico is very sexy. Jordan Marie is always excellent. She does love and alpha males better than almost anyone. I’m reading the entire series. ❤️❤️

The narrator’s emotions

I like the growth and maturity or each main character. I didn’t like that Max died. I wish he had also survived.
