Declaring War

What did you love best about Captivating Bridge?

Captivating Bridge was a surprise for me, from the previous 2 books in the series I HATED WAR. But throughout this book your shown that beneath his flaws he's really lovable in a jerk off way

What was one of the most memorable moments of Captivating Bridge?

Think the most memorable moment was War and Shanna signing together after making up. I love how Michelle Malkin always incorporates music in her audio books, just wish Wen and Kai actually sang lol

What does Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Wen and Kai give the characters voices, sass, and attitude

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes unfortunately I couldn't due to adyluting hut I listened in 3 days 😊😊😊

Any additional comments?

Another amazing addition to the Tempest series was wary of listening due to my dislike of War but glad I do.

All Because Of A Bridge!

What made the experience of listening to Captivating Bridge the most enjoyable?

The way that Kai and Wen bring the whole shebang alive. I can actually see it playing out in my minds eye. Every detail is described, you know, the ones that can be missed while reading?

What was one of the most memorable moments of Captivating Bridge?

When Warren made the vow to change. To be a better man, get away from the drugs. And he really meant it this time, no excuses.

Have you listened to any of Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

They are always Awesome. Always bring it to life for me.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

A lot of fun, and excitement, but also many heart breaking moments, and yes, I did cry. I cryed for all War went through, and him thinking he wasn't worth anything.

Any additional comments?

This is a VERY emotional read.....get the tissues ready!

wow, this series just keeos getting better

I was surprised how much I liked this book. I disliked Warren's character so much in the first book, I was expecting his journey to salvation to be just as dark. Loved the girl he ended up with. Let's face it, only someone as sweet as cotton candy could have lightened this dark soul. The narrators have gotten better with each book, so they both gave brilliant performances. Wish book 4 was available on audible. In the mean time, off to find another great audible...

Amazing!

Wow I love this story. These characters are great. War really does have an attitude and Shayna is so full of innocence. The connection they have is so amazing. I love that this remained connected to the previous characters too. Narration was on point as always. Thanks Michelle.

War and Shanna

what can I say...I use to think Warren was a Douche and although he may still have him hidden deep down and could have him visit on call he definitely did a 180 for the better...this Story totally made me fall in love with War right along with Shanna... thank you Shanna, we all thank you for bringing out the good in War... I think as of right now he's my favorite... but I have a feeling I'm going to fall hard for Dizzy , can't wait to read his story ❤️

Sweet spicy and all things right

You have to adore a book where it show's a bada** teddy bear side. I love a story that shows that not only can War be a jerk, but he can be a real softie. Then there's the sugar and spice that's Shaina who complements him perfectly. It was awesome listening to Kai and Wen weave this Captivating story through the air (see what I did there lol). Through the ups and downs of this book Kai, Wen and Michelle wove an awesome tale and together they made something truly worth listening to.

My Two Pennies

Everything happens for a reason. Warren "War" the former lead singer of Tempest and Shaina, an actress both experienced events that have shaken them to the core which brings them together unexpectedly. Warren is a completely different man then I've known him to be when he was with the band, I adore him now. Shaina is so innocent and caring that when she takes the time to talk with Warren you can see that these two are fire and ice, complete opposites but need each other. There are times I'm fuming at Warrens actions towards Shaina and then others with what Shaina does to herself. Their story as a whole is my fave yet from this series. Yes it can be read as a standalone but each one of the members has a story and I love seeing the man Warren has become compared to how he was in the beginning.

Tears and Laughter

This is an amazing continuation of the Tempest series. As always, Wen and Kai did a fantastic job narrating this story. I love how their voices bring so much feeling to the story. They really know how to bring a story to life.
I'm so glad that War finally got his own story. I loved being able to see inside his thoughts. Finally knowing why he does the things he does. Then in comes Shaina. I really liked Shaina. I really felt for her and what she went through. At the same time, I disliked quite a bit of her actions. Sometimes her sticky sweetness really got on my nerves. I was so happy when she started living for herself. Did she make some really stupid decisions? Of course she did! But that's what made her so real. She was exactly what Warren needed in his life. Even if he was too stupid to realize it.
I was so happy to see Lace, Bryan, Dizzy and the rest of the gang! It's always nice to catch up with them. I'm looking forward to listening to Dizzy's story next.
