I listen to a lot of audible books with my 4th grade son and we love Dean Pitchford's books! The Big One-Oh, Nickel Bay Nick and Captain Nobody are fabulous, and the author does an amazing job narrating them. This book has a lot of heart and is also incredibly funny and makes you want to keep listening. So good!

Great story line that's enhanced with great narrating!

My 9 yr old son hates, hates, hates to have to listen to me read so when I found this book was on audible, I decided to try it out. I had read the book a couple years ago to my other son, who was 9 at the time as well, and we liked it. Well, hearing the author's different voices for each character and the way he told the story made my son actually like being "read to" for the first time ever. We both laughed out loud throughout the book, and he even asked me to rewind it a few times just to hear a funny expression over again. Great, great book!
