I’m ready to move

I thoroughly enjoyed this expose’! What the author shares I know to be true. Having been to Canada several times, I appreciate the culture, the norms, & the people. The only down side, & I know this from living in Minnesota, is the prolonged cold winter!

A Story about Growing Up in the 70's and 80's

If you grew up in the 70's or 80's, and you'd like to reminisce about your childhood, this is an entertaining trip back in time. You'll relate even if you didn't grow up in Canada.

Unexpected

I don't remember how or when I picked up this title. After finishing a draining long book I found this in my library and gave it a listen. The beginning with the bank calendars did not give me hope. Soon though, his utopic musings started to sound very appealing. I can see why so many people choose to live there. Were I not so firmly established where I am, his descriptions made me think that maybe I could choose the same.

It Really Does Sound Awesome

Listening to this book takes hardly any time at all.

I recommend it for several reasons:

It has a delightful story

It is really easy to listen to quickly

It makes you wish you could visit, and perhaps live in Canada (if you haven’t or don’t)

It makes you wish the world was more like Canada

Makes me want ketchup chips (and to try some of those other things he mentions)

The author narrates it and makes the story better told in his own voice

And of course, now I really want to visit Canada even more than I did.

Very fun and enjoyable, this is the first of this authors books I have listened to/read. I can’t wait to listen to others that are available.

Enjoyable little listen

Sweet tribute by a native to the country he loves. I enjoyed learning a little bit more about my neighbors to the north. I’ve no doubt that Canada is awesome.

Amazing audible for an amazing Canada!

I enjoyed every bit of it, especially the demonstration of Canada's diversity and the history of the country's name.

Heart-warming, authentic, and original

Heart-warming, authentic, and original, Canada is Awesome is a lovely listen that brings out humanity but isn't sugary or trite. Canada is on my "Places I could move to" list, and this book helps make the case without trying to do so. Sweet writing and narration, Mr. Pasricha!
