A Story about Growing Up in the 70's and 80's

If you grew up in the 70's or 80's, and you'd like to reminisce about your childhood, this is an entertaining trip back in time. You'll relate even if you didn't grow up in Canada.

Canada celebrated!

The perfect selection to hear the day before Canada Day. It made me smile so many times and miss my homeland.

Amazing audible for an amazing Canada!

I enjoyed every bit of it, especially the demonstration of Canada's diversity and the history of the country's name.

Delightfully uplifting

I gave my first 5 stars in eons. Neil Pasricha did a great job narrating his little book. I listened to this after not finishing a kindle book and not finishing an audio book (and I rarely DNF books). Between that and feeling a bit stressed, it was so refreshing to listen to this story. It was nostalgic (Canadian or not), uplifting, and makes me want to move to Canada. If you're looking for a simple feel good listen, this is it. Excellent for days when you are stressed or in a bad mood.

A heartwarming ode to a lovely country

This little nonfiction audiobook is an essay of childhood memories, facts, and thoughts about Canada written by a proud Canadian. It makes me wish that I was Canadian. It brought a tear to my eye about how Canadians act like they are members of the same community. I learned a lot, and it left me feeling cozy. I highly recommend it.

Interesting look at Canadian values

Thanks, Audible for featuring this little gem in the free books for Audible members this month. I have many Canadian friends and after listening, I think I understand the culture of kindness a little better now. Very nice.

Yes, It Is!

This story touches on some of what makes CANADA so great, and there is SO MUCH MORE. Canada, the second largest country in the world (Russia being the largest), is full of beauty and diversity.
Well performed.

Quick, Light, Easy

I'm a Murdoch Mysteries fan and have become fascinated with Canada. This was an informative and cheery book.

Bazinga

This short Audiobook taught me a little something about Canada. It was narrated well.

Disclaimer: My enjoyment of the narrator is based on my listening speed. I only leave 5 stars for books I've listened to or will listen to multiple times.
