Blake races against the clock to rescue his daughter while Chloe and Hank are asked to be a part of the task force assembled to bring down the traffickers. 

Chloe finds herself attracted to the silent, suffering man, but thanks to her previous bad judgment, she wonders if she can trust him. And can Blake trust himself around this firecracker of a woman?

This author keeps you guessing!

My hubby and I love Lynette Eason's books! Add this one to our list! The subject of human trafficking is hard to accept, and the author does an excellent job of presenting it. We were immediately drawn into the story, and at times, even shouted out suggestions to the law enforcement officers! As for the 2 stars on the narration, this lady has a nice voice, but she puts in too many pauses. Her narration does not flow well. But it was certainly not enough of a distraction to stop us from listening. We look forward to Book 3 in the series.

Human trafficking is a tough issue

Authorities angreat job of weaving and tough and tragic topic into this suspense mystery novel. Hope and the need to persevere and finding peace in the outcome at times of grief and forgiveness.

Superb Story

Lynette is always able to stir up my emotions. could NOT quit listening even though I have to get up early!

Better than the first!

This book delves into the world of sex trafficking, which is all true real. But don’t let that prevent you from listening to this book! The book gave a glimpse into the law enforcement and what’s being done to stop this horrific crime. It also adds a Christian perspective and how prayers are answered.
The action and suspense were fantastic! Twists and turns plus good vs evil. And like the first book, family is everything.
