Fire the narrator

The narrator was awful. I'm struggling to finish the book. Sooo dramatic. I think authors need to do a better job picking narrators.

This narrator was awful!!!

I don’t know if she was trying to sound sexy or what, but she comes off as a breathless bubble headed ditz! I had to stop several times. If I wasn’t interested in the story - which is good but a bit immature - I would have just given up. Just horrible narration!!!

Parts were really good

I really enjoyed parts of this book! Listening to all nine books continuously was a bit awkward. There were times in the story that information was repeated because I suppose it was the beginning of another book and they were getting everyone up to speed on what had happened in the previous book.

There was also a few times that a new development in the plot seemed quite implausible but it is a book about people turning into bears so… really almost anything goes!

The Narration ....ugh

I couldn’t get through the book because of the narrator. The preview of the book sounded like it would have be a quick read with a nice story line but as previously stated the narrator made me cringe. I am not sure who in everyday life talks like a seductress. So hence the poor review.

Pretty good...Very soap opera-ish

I listened to the entire thing, which is a pretty good recommendation, but I don't think I'll get another series life this. It was very soap opera-ish, over the top, and, although I like Erin deWard, there were so many characters, that several of the men sounded like old women as she tried to develop distinct voices for each character.

Over all pretty good

The book was good. The only thing I can say is some of the voices used for the different guys were bad.

I really wanted to like this book

If it was only one book it would have been awesome but I guess the author wanted to give each female character their own story and this huge villain everyone could hate but it just dragged on and on and the twists and turns weren't even feasible. In the beginning there is one concept that true mates are for life and that's it then later on in the book find out you can have another mate, the author make rules in the beginning and then changed most of them by the end of the book.
