Love the depth of the characters, so many of them. Live the details of the experiences

Great Story; Volume Issue

We listened to this production via CarPlay during a road trip. Everything was great until Reina started reading the diary and her volume dropped to imperceptible. It also happened with male characters. We’d have to pause, turn up the volume and back up to hear the text. Luckily, I was copilot. If a sole driver, all the fiddling could be dangerous.

Call of the Camino is a great story and has inspired us to consider a trip to Spain! This particular production needs some technical editing to even out the volume for all of the characters, then we would highly recommend it!!

A call indeed

I liked the storyline of the book- of course it wraps up with happy endings, but it throws in faith, hope, and charity as well.

Beautifully crafted

It is such a great story - it’s entrancing as it unfolds. Definitely a must read/ listen.

The determination of the characters, the obstacles they faced and the soul-searching they did.

Loved the characters, the experience of the Camino, the skill in storytelling, the lessons learned.

The pilgrimage hike and the people on the trail.

Loved the story vs woven through the trails between Spain and France. The coming together of strangers who turn into friends for life. The beauty and passion of life.

My husband and I just walked the Camino. This book took me right back there. It was wonderful!

I loved it all! The characters were so likable and real. Beautifully written - Buen Camiño!

Slow start, good ending

The story prior to the journey, for me, was draggy; however, it did pick up. The characters became more interesting, and I wound up liking the book.

The incredible details

The descriptions of the land and the friendships grown within the historic landscapes. An epic tale of family and love and friendships among the pilgrims.

Captivating

Loved the twists and turns… loved the story of different generations and the descriptions of the towns and landscapes. The narration was fantastic and the story line kept you guessing. Highly recommend it..
