The wonderful natural beauty of the national parks, the scenic Highway No. 1 or San Francisco, which already had a special attraction in the gold rush days - the "California feeling" and the appeal of the incredible diversity of the country is omnipresent. From the beautiful coastal city of San Diego, the route goes to three very different national parks: Joshua Tree National Park, the "Wonderland of Rocks", the lonely desert landscape of Death Valley and the green paradise of Yosemite National Park with its steep rock faces and thundering waterfalls.
