Each family now lives in a new world. A world they must learn to face as victims of tragedy. As the unfortunate. As the unlucky.

Dane Cooper is the patriarch of one of these families and he has a plan for redemption. It is a terrible plan. In order to deliver his family from a world void of Luck he decides he must kill one of his children. As depraved as Dane's plan may sound, you will find that as you listen on, there are others with far more sinister intentions.

A page turner!

I immediately fell in love with the characters and couldn't wait to pick up where I left off the previous day. I was emotionally engaged from early on and felt as if I was sitting one-on-one with the narrator in his study. The unique way each story intertwined with the next was intriguing and appealing to my curious mind. Toward the end of the book I wanted to savor the remaining pages as not to have the story come to an end. A great read and listen all the way around!

I loved every minute of this book. the storytelling is spectacular and I can't wait for the next book. Thanks for 20 hours of listening and many days of pondering and wondering about life and how I keep the shiny side up....rubber down.
