Publisher's summary

Have fun with Morse Code! Knowing Morse Code is no longer required to get an amateur radio license, but many hams are learning the code anyway. There are many reasons for this:

  • It's a part of amateur radio history.
  • There's a mystique about operating Morse Code.
  • It's FUN!

This book is all about having fun with Morse Code. It will:

  • Help you learn the code
  • Choose the type of key that's right for you
  • Show you how to get on the air and make contacts
  • Teach you the proper way to use abbreviations, Q-signals, and prosigns

But, most of all, it will help you have fun with Morse Code.

Listen to this guy,!

Wonderful little book CHOCKED full of great tips and pointers. As a guy who became a licenced Novice in 1985, hitting a whopping 5 words a minute but never getting on the air, Dan is amazingly encouraging. Thanks Dan, this old dog is going to get back in the game after 35 years.

Helpful intro to the topic of Morse Code

I enjoyed the book and learned several things about Morse code. I am going to learn Morse code, but until I got this book I knew very little about it. I am a new ham radio operator and so have learned many things about protocol in the ham world, and this book helped with the CW side of it. Worth listening to for someone wanting to learn about Morse code.

Informational, it no instruction.

Great information however, no CW practice or learning method. Worth a shot if your new to the code.

Don’t buy

Not worth the money. There isn’t any thing here that you couldn’t get in 5 minutes on the internet.
