The Beginning of Chaos

Solar Flares happen frequently, and this book follows the characters as they deal with the aftermath of a CME and the chaos that happens after the power grids are gone. How will society react to the loss of power? Will people come together, or will it be every person for themselves? Lizzy and Sarah are on a plane just before the CME hits. Sarah is the co-pilot and after they safely land in Salt Lake City just minutes before the CME hits and all power is gone. Sarah finds out that Lizzy was on her plane after she gets off the plane. Lizzy and Sarah are two strong, independent women, and they are far from home when the CME hits. They quickly discovery how things will change. Society starts to break down and they put together a plan on how they can make it home to their families. Can they do what is required? How will it change them? Will either of them survive to see their families? What is going too far? What would you do to protect yourself or loved ones?
