This episode takes an in-depth look at the decriminalization movement from the perspectives of a Canadian lobbyist, advocate and ex-narco trafficker who was arrested 23 years ago as a 1st year of University of Toronto student. Leonard Ro is currently a legislated federal lobbyist who is seeking the allocation of crown land for affordable housing units. While working at the University of Toronto for 6 years on a CUPE3261 casual position contract he sought reform on Canada's Drug Policy and received a Pardon (Record Suspension) last year for his offenses 23 years (Sept 1998) and 18 years (Sept 2003-Aug 2004) ago. He was nominated for the 2021 Order of Canada from the Governor General's Office and is the past recipient of the 2009 CCRS Award presented by then Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty and the 2009 Anti-Crime Distinction Award presented my then Governor General Michaelle Jean
