Mean Girls Grown Up & Glammed Up

Excellent performances, fantastic suspense building and connecting of the dots. I legit felt anxious and cringey with anticipating the impact of bad decisions the characters made. Enjoyed the listen the whole way through. Look forward to more from Carola Lovering.

Chilling realism

Liked how the story developed and showed how it just takes one small decision to change the entire story of a lifetime

Not much.

I listen to a lot of books the ones I like I just get more of the same author, but I’m sharing this review because I feel the character Cassie was so whiny and it came across really poorly in the audio.

Interesting characters and story

Narration was great. The characters were interesting and the story flowed well. Would recommend. Interesting premise.

The “twist” ticked me off

The so called twist in this story literally ticked me off and I stop listening until the next day. I was like “really, that’s just …” (uuuugghhh) I still chose to finish the book because the narration was good that’s why I gave it an Audible 4 stars but the book itself would be a 3 star read.

I Love the author ill read anything she writes. Narrator kept me listening, did not get boring.

A Dramatic Twisted Story with all the Goods

What's not to love? I leapt right into this story without pause. So easy to get to know the characters and a plot that keeps you riveted. I didn't want it to end.

Recommend- very unique storyline! Lots of twists & turns. I enjoyed it, def binged it in like 24 hours. Worth a read!

I find the narrators really matter. Both women have such great voices and inflection.

Great story. Wanted more of a deep dive into the trauma Billy experienced. And how it shaped her behavior/ relationships.

Story of relationships

This was an interesting story of characters growing from adolescence to adulthood and yet staying the same. So much to unpack in Billie’s and Cassie’s relationship. I couldn’t quit listening, really enjoyed it and recommend.
