Profits. Coffee. Extortion. All in a day's work.

When Ishmael takes the Chernyakova back into Toe-Hold space, he finds a lot more than profit. A quick pass through the Telluride system reveals the answer to one question but leaves him docked without a cargo until the owner of Dark Knight Station makes him an offer he can't refuse.

Child like Delight

I have come to feel a familial affection for these characters. Bravo Nathan Lowell. this is an excellent series. I cannot count the number of times I have re-read it. I am, and remain an Ardent fan.

Another Nathan Lowell winner

Excellent wrap up pf this trio series. Nathan Lowell has never disappointed with any of his Solar Clipper tales and hopefully these characters will be seen in future adventures.

Excellent book

Nathan Lowell never fails to entertain. Once again an outstanding tale. Can't wait for the next series to see what adventures the four of them get themselves into. Unfortunately Jeffrey Kafer's grating narration leaves a lot to be desired.

Out of this world!

Lowell does it again in this excellent wrap-up for Ish's tale. Jeffrey Kafer's narration sometimes falls a bit flat of the writing IMO, but nonetheless an excellent performance. Love listening to Ish deal with his unwelcome visitors, and the surprise twist caught me off guard! An excellent read to wrap up Ish's trip into the deep dark...until the next time!

Another fantastic story I'm already missing

An excellent performance on a well-capped story, and I wish there were more. I had read Smuggler's Tale before starting this series, and they have both collided quite beautifully.

Home Run.

From Quarter Share to Darkness Forged fantastic. I love the character development. I normally enjoy a good military space opera with lots of action, fighting, heroes and maybe even dragons. the day-to-day life of a spacer played out with the detail written into the story makes you feel like you are there. This fun tale in the beginning turns into a “I need to know what is next” story and then into a “take a closer look at my own life” sort of self-help book. Ending with the feeling of having had really good therapy.

I love this series!

I have enjoyed this series since the beginning and I hope they keep coming. Not one but all of the characters have become special to me and I love hearing their stories.

Please don't stop now.

The best SciFi series, period.

This series is by far the very best of its genre. The ongoing tale of Ishmael Wong is more addictive than heroin. I can’t begin to describe the various layers of this epic series. I can only say that I was never a fan of SciFi stories until the Golden Age of the Solar Clipper.
