Publisher's Summary

In a Legion gone lax, Colonel Bill Booly, with his mixed blood and by-the-book attitude, is a misfit. So when he steps on some important toes, his punishment is assignment to the worst post in the galaxy: Earth. But Booly and his troops will turn out to be Earth's best line of defense, when a Legion-led military coup topples the government. It's Legionnaire against Legionnaire in a struggle that will be won by strength and courage.

Legionaries being Legionaries

Amazing story, the end can be summed up by the phrase that escalated quickly. These books hit you in the feels. Highly recommend the series so far. Read the first volume on paper back, found it on audible and now I'm listening to the whole thing.

Another great installment for The Legion

Bloody brutish and exhilluratingly human. Great military action combined with political intrigue. Holds your interest throughout.

Galactic military manoeuvres

Continues to build on earlier work, but can be read on its own. Competent space/military/galactic empires sci fi. Some of the military hardware seems a bit antiquated for time scale, but generally convincing and a good liste.

Agree with Tina's review

If you read the others you will probably want to read this one also but not at the top of your list.

Decent but not to the level of the first 2 parts

While it is a good book and I did enjoy it, there is some lacking. Its a little drawn out in parts and not nearly enough battles, its much more political than the previous 2 parts. A good read still and necessary to understand subsequent parts.
