Publisher's Summary

Morgan Atkins is used to losing, but losing Messiah Williams was the most tragic of them all. Surely, after Messiah, no other man could compare. Settling with Sebastian Fredrick didn't seem like such an impossible task. He treated her well enough, he accepted her children, and he offered her entrance into a well-connected world.

There was only one problem: He wanted to change her into someone else. The rules that went along with his lifestyle suffocated her, and when Morgan reconnected with Messiah's crew, she no longer wanted to play by Bash’s rules. When she falls in love with Messiah's best friend, Ahmeek Harris, she knows she's headed for trouble. His presence heals her in a way that no man has ever been able to do before. Their love affair is electric. Morgan is uncertain about many thing, but one thing she's sure of is that she can't let this feeling go. She goes out on a limb and risks it all just to be with Meek, but when Messiah reveals that he's still alive, the battle for one girl's heart just may lead to the demise of them all.

She can only be queen to one man. Which one has the true key to her heart? Can Messiah make up for his mistakes, or is it too late to save what they once had? Is Ahmeek a rebound,or does he offer her something more? Does Bash even stand a chance? This second installment of the Butterfly series will leave you breathless.

Decent at BEST

I waited months for this book and I'm somewhat disappointed. I think I'm just about over how weak Morgan is, she's exhausting. She's supposed to be a mother of twins and all she does is whines about any and everything! For Masiah to be such a gangsta he cries throughout the ENTIRE book. This was supposed to be the end of the series and somehow it gets dragged out for another 8 books. Don't waste the credit. Fingers crossed that Masiah gets with Blue, Mo stays with Meek and the story ends the very next book.

Drag!!!

Morgan to me is acting like raven...I’m getting she’s going to die vibes. I do not understand why can’t we get a 400 page book? Give us some real material to read. Overall I’m disappointed your stories are extremely short, so short I’m trying to figure out why do we have to wait 6 months for another 200 page book. Very ridiculous. Honestly the story is being dragged I hate to say it! I didn’t want to admit that she dragged the ethic series but she did and now she’s dragging butterfly..might as well comeback in a year when all the books are written because that’s how long it’s going to take her to get through the series. Ridiculous and again disappointed.

Disappointed...

I should’ve waited for butterfly 3. A bunch of meaningless content just to get Morgan in the same place she was in. No excitement, the storyline lacked luster. I

Save your Money/Credit

The fluff and overly descriptive words that show the lack of depth in this author are becoming more and more transparent. The overly descriptive scene setting that delays the advancement of the storyline and book series is back. Book 1 in this series gave me hope that the author had gotten past that type of writing style but this book let us all know that she has not. The back and forth of all of these characters is immature and will they/won't they with Mo and Meek and Mo and Bash and Mo and Messiah seems like a recycled Ethic and Alani storyline with revolving characters. All of these queen references to Morgan are starting to be corny. Queens don't let their crowns hit the ground - yet that is where Morgan's crown stays because she is childish, and these grown men fighting over this child is ridiculous. This version of Messiah is so triflin that he is unrecognizable. There is no loyalty with character development from this author- with the exception of Ethic and childish Morgan. Even Aria and Bash are becoming someone untrue to who they were first introduced to be. Bottom line, this book was 80% fluff and 20% content worth investing in. As much as I once loved this author's work, that dwindled once I realized her tactic is to drag out a series as evident with the Ethic series and now unfortunately with this one too. This book is childish and this writing style is immature. I had preordered Butterfly 3, but I just canceled that preorder. I am done.

What the Heck?

Is this like Moth to a Flame part 7 or something? I have read/ listened to all of these books to include Ethic, Luxe, and Prada Plan over the last few months and I have to say they all have an underlying dismal theme. I am really trying to figure out wth is up with Messiah and his twisted train of thought. How are you screwing your “best friend” but you are ready to kill over Morgan? Why is Messiah always messing everything up? He is an idiot. Is Morgan Raven reincarnated? She is dumb as hell! Messiah still never found out about his kids. She just strung Ahmeek along and continued to get herself in bad situations. He’s been the only good solid person in this book besides Ethic. I knew Bash was crazy as hell! Dang how long is Alani gonna be pregnant? The first chapter came from a different book I cannot remember which one but it was either the Christmas or baby shower book. I’ll listen to the next one in December, but this one ended really poorly. It was almost like what was the point? I guess I was expecting more for each character. They all seemed to be moving in cement and they didn’t go anywhere or else they went backwards.

Ummmmm? *SPOILERS*

Ok of course I loved the book, but at the same time it’s upsetting to go through 8 hours of Morgan and Arias dancing lyrics to the songs, Messiah still doesn’t know about his kids, Bash is a nut job. I hate the fact Morgan is weak how you have 3 shooters around you and got Bash sucker ass controlling you 😒. Anyway it was dragged out to get to book 3.

DONT WASTE YOUR CREDIT!!!!!!!!!

This book was so disappointing, the round and round love affair with morgan, meek, and bash got on my last nerves. That's basically what this book is about, morgan going back and forth between two men. I don't know what I expected exactly from this book, but it didn't do it for me. Morgan got on my everlasting nerves acting like she couldn't pick a man, poor meeky, I feel bad for him, he doesn't deserve to be played with like that, hes such a good man... also when ethic said "its not just her its two kids involved" did Massiah not hear him, or was it not meant to trigger him that those were his kids? I don't know. hopefully book 3 will be a ending and not get dragged out like the Ethic series, because that was so exhausting... overall this book is basically a filler book, and can be skipped.

SUPER Disappointed!!!

OMG I could not wait to see what happened next. But low and behold every one has lost their mind, all but Ahmeek.
ETHIC strong and sexy is whipped and is now a yes man? MESSIAH treatment of Morgan was less than loving CRUL before he died, then comes to Ethic for forgiveness, with a plea for accepting him back. Then comes back to her with the same to proud, too tough Demanding attitude, a pure a-hole to her and complete tyrant.
BASH is now an abuser and threatening to her life and further and instead of her telling her family she takes the abuse? SMH allow him to blackmail her to stay with him?? And MORGAN Never get to hear Messiahs our, tell him the twins are his. And she so weak she take Bash hitting her? And don’t tell Ethic? Especially the threat on him?? then ends with ARIA getting taken??
Half way through the book I was like what’s going on, who are these people?? They definitely are different character with the same names. The flip flop of them are just as bad as after young Morgan could hear 👂🏾Well.... well in Mouth to a flame BUT somehow in the Ethic bookS she was born death. Disappointed on how the storyline is going.

Stupid soap opera plots

Not liking a character is indicative of good character development however Morgan character is not only unlikable but her actions and thought patterns don’t make sense. Morgan is doing stupid things for the sole purpose of getting another book out of these old characters. So this story is like a soap opera and not a good one at that. I was waiting for someone to play an organ and say “stay tuned next week . . .”
